Design and materials

In crafting this remarkable residence, we've placed a strong emphasis on incorporating natural materials with rich textures into the interior design to seamlessly extend the exterior's charm. Not a single wall within the apartment remains stark white. Our exclusive selection of materials, including wood, stone, and metals, combined with spacious and flexible floor plans, creates a truly unique living atmosphere.‍

For the bedroom walls, we opted for dark golden oak panels, complemented by the same dark oak engineered wooden flooring. The use of jumbo-size floor planks and their rough texture provides a delightful contrast to the smooth wall panels, offering a pleasurable walking experience. To enhance the interior's tranquil and relaxing ambiance, the apartment's ceiling features warm off-white decorative plaster.‍

In the bathroom, we adorned it with stunning bronze marble slabs, not only within the space but also on its outer walls. This results in a striking, substantial volume that can be appreciated from any vantage point.‍

Huge, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with an abundance of natural daylight. Bronze anodized aluminum frames complement the apartment's rich material palette. The linear shapes and stringent material applications find balance with the softening effect of translucent cotton curtains and the textile upholstery of the furniture.‍

Furniture and fixtures

The furniture within this apartment deserve special attention. All the movable furnishings are custom-crafted by the esteemed Italian furniture manufacturer, Minotti. Most of the soft furnishings feature light-toned fabrics, but there are also accents. One standout is the exquisite green leather armchair with a matching footstool in the bedroom. Providing a comfortable spot to explore a book, it's complemented by the presence of a beautiful olive tree.‍

For built-in furniture, including wardrobes and doors, we turned to another exclusive Italian manufacturer, Rimadesio. The walk-in wardrobe in the primary bedroom is a work of art in itself. With its open shelves, oak drawers, bronze fixtures, and brown leather accents, it radiates elegance. A slatted sliding partition, crafted from dark oak, separates the bedroom from the rest of the primary living spaces, creating a delicate interplay of light and shadow.‍

Lighting is integrated through ceiling-mounted magnetic tracks by Kreon, allowing for effortless attachment of necessary components and specialized accent lighting throughout the apartment. For general illumination, diffuse point lights are discreetly installed along the magnetic tracks. In addition, projectors within the same tracks are strategically positioned to illuminate artworks and greenery. Decorative lighting fixtures from Kreon and Vibia play a significant role in creating various lighting scenarios carefully programmed for this apartment.‍

Finally, plumbing fixtures are masterfully presented by Antonio Lupi. In a sleek black metal finish, they harmoniously complement the bronze marble adorning the bathroom, completing the overall aesthetic with sophistication and style.

Outdoor spaces

This apartment boasts an extensive outdoor area, equivalent in size to the interior space. It has been thoughtfully divided into multiple separate terraces and several small gardens, ensuring that each room has access to the outdoors. The largest terrace is accessible from both the living room and the primary bedroom, situated on the upper floor, it offers breathtaking views of the lake.‍

The main terrace is the ideal spot for relaxation and social gatherings. A pair of teak Minotti armchairs, adorned with soft cushions and accompanied by a stone coffee table, creates the perfect setting for morning coffee while overlooking the sunrise over the lake. Two elegant sun lounges provide an ideal spot for sunbathing, all within the comfort of the apartment, complete with spectacular views. In contrast, a vibrant green sofa from Minotti's Florida collection, spanning almost 4 meters in length, serves as a focal point for relaxation during the day and a gathering spot during parties.‍

Adjacent to the indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen with a dining table can be found on another terrace.
